The Crystal Ice Company. 1345 West 4th Street, Reno, Nevada, 89503. Phone 775-323-5145.
Coming from California, to get to Crystal Ice, exit at the Keystone Exit, at the west end of Reno.
Turn right onto Keystone Avenue, and go past the Keystone Square shopping center on the left. In the far end of this shopping center is Simply Water, a BMan friendly source for drinking water if you need. After the shopping center you will get to a traffic light intersection with 4th Street.
Turn right onto 4th Street, go past the 4th Street frontage of that same Keystone Square shopping Center. After the end of the frontage you will pass a cul-de-sac on the right called Edwards Way, drive on by. Start looking for a huge Crystal Ice Company sign on the right. It's just a couple hundred feet past Edwards Way.
Pull into the loading dock facing out onto 4th Street. Get out, tell the guy on the dock what you want.
THE COLD STUFF
Comments below include estimates that seem to come to my fuzzy mind. Exercise common sense to temper these recommendations.
They have Dry Ice by the pound. Get it cut (they usually have these ready) in 10 lbs sheets, wrapped in plastic. You MUST wear gloves to handle these!! Wrap them in blankets before placing them in the cooler or Sarcophagus. Otherwise you will freeze the cooler plastic to a fragile state that can cause it to crack easily. Your Dry Ice will also boil off very quickly without this thermal buffer. Estimate: Six 10 lb sheets.
They have opaque Machine Ice in 20+ lbs blocks. Get the standard blocksize that will fit people's food coolers. Test the size on a standard cooler right there, sometimes they are a little whacky in size. The Sarcophagus will hold the blocks until the food coolers need refilling, at which time blocks that are too large become useless. Estimate: Twenty 20 lb blocks.
They have handmade Clear Ice in various size blocks. Get blocks in a shape that best fits the Critical Tits Ice Ramps requirements (see Evrett and Paul). They will even custom-cut you a size, as long as they have a blank block that can accomodate it. These are premium price, so handle carefully and buy just what you need. Estimate: Two 40 lb blocks in a longish shape.
